Fellow
divers, 2006
is shaping up to be a good year. As
you may see in the site the quarry has added several items, two boats and one
airplane. Many thanks to the Shelby
County and Effingham County Dive-Rescue teams for their assistance in obtaining,
preparing, and placing the items for your diving pleasure. A
small dressing room has been added at the beach area and new rock for the road
and sand for the beach is also new for 2006. We
will be planting various forms of ivy on our cliffs to help keep run off at bay
this year. We have added chemicals
to keep the plant growth to a minimum and the diving more enjoyable. Our
staff will be expanding and classes are on-going. All is well here at OMNI SCUBA for 2006. We
look forward to serving your equipment needs with Sherwood, Akona, Genesis and
other fine products for your diving experiences. Trips
are being planned and your input is always welcome. Further improvements at the quarry are planned so stay tuned
