Terry Trueblood-

Terry Trueblood is President of OMNI SCUBA.  Terry is known far and wide for his pioneering work in the field of Public Safety Diving, specifically underwater crime scene processing. Terry has actually authored the training manual for U/W crime technician’s candidates to become certified through Dive-Rescue Intl.
Terry is the founder of the Illinois Secretary of State Police Underwater Investigation Unit and in addition to his duties there he serves in another leadership role as Commander of the Effingham County Dive-Rescue Department. Terry has been cited for numerous awards including bravery, lifesaving, and meritorious service.
Terry also serves as a senior corporate trainer for Dive Rescue International; where he has also received awards including outstanding and most requested instructor.  Dive Rescue is world renowned for teaching the Who’s Who of police, fire, rescue teams from around the globe. Such organizations as NASA, FBI, RCMP, Secret Service, U.S. Marshall’s State Police agencies and thousand of local fire and police departments.
Terry has also been named several times to the Who’s Who of public service, quite a distinction.
What does all this mean to the new student diver?  It means you have come to a shop where the staff actually cares about you and has extensive experience and expertise in the field.  Terry and his professional staff will give you safe effective training that is custom fit for your personality. Jeremy Kyle-

Jeremy Kyle is an instructor here at Omni Scuba. He is currently serving as the Operations Lieutenant with the Effingham County Dive Rescue Team and has been called to assist with dive operations for the Illinois Secretary of State Police Underwater Investigations Unit and numerous other surrounding agencies. While serving his team he has been cited for numerous achievements, unit citations, and individual merit awards.
Jeremy is employed with the Effingham County Sheriff's Department and can also be found on patrol during the summer with the Effingham Water Authority Police. Jeremy also serves as a board member of the Illinois Water Rescue Association and is an active Public Safety Scuba Instructor through Dive Rescue International.
Jeremy is an Advanced Open Water Instructor and teaches over 11 different specialties. He is passionate for diving and loves to help students reach their goals. Whether you just want to get your initial certification or you want to continue to advance and see even more of the underwater world, Jeremy is here to help you!

Dive Control Specialists-

Our DiveCon's are top of the line porfessionals. We have Kenny Schwerman R.N.; Kenny is an ER Nurse and Paramedic; in addition he has years of dive rescue experience and is currently serving as a Fire Chief. We also have Scott Enkoff and Scott Jefson both currently serving as team leaders from the Shelby County Dive Team, as well as Clay Brush. Clay hails from Moultrie County where he serves as Chief Diver for their Dive Rescue Team. These men share 3 common traits; Experience, Professionalism, and a Love of Scuba Diving! They are standing buy ready to help you reach your goals!
